Kirby Olliver (she/her)
I’m Kirby, an Accredited Practicing Dietitian and Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician.
My practice is grounded in authenticity and compassion. I love learning about each person’s individual lived experience, and how this has shaped their relationship with eating and their body. I am particularly passionate about decreasing shame and stigma around eating disorders. I recognise that eating disorders often develop to help us cope with difficulty, and support clients to develop a deeper self-understanding.
I care deeply about inclusivity and increasing access to eating disorder support. Eating disorders do not have a look, shape, or gender, and all bodies deserve affirming care.
I also have experience in sports nutrition. I’ve worked with athletes from a range of sporting backgrounds, and previously lectured at the Australian College of Physical Education. I’m particularly interested in challenging unrealistic body ideals and disordered eating in sport, advocating for safety and inclusivity.
