I acknowledge the Walumadagal as the custodians of the Country on which I live and work, and I am grateful for their ongoing care and connection to these lands, waters, and sky.
The Walumadagal are among the first healers to have nurtured human and non-human kin in Australia, exemplifying what it means to live in tune with oneself, one’s body, and the world. They have paved the way for work such as mine, and for that I am truly thankful. I pay my respects to Walumadagal Elders of past, present, and emerging, and I recognise that Sovereignty has never been ceded. Walumada always was and always will be Aboriginal land.
